ARCHITECTURE + INTERIORS.
DESIGNED IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.

Babel Architecture designs inviting buildings, renovations & interiors throughout New York and beyond, in close collaboration with each client and a small circle of makers, engineers, and builders.

Modern, handcrafted and made with intention.

An interior view of a home staircase with wooden steps and black railing, surrounded by various potted green plants, a bookshelf with books, and wall art.
Various houseplants in pots on a terrazzo countertop with beige tiled wall in the background.

We believe in a pragmatic design approach. Each project responds directly to the unique conditions of its site and the daily rituals of its inhabitants.

We embrace collaboration. Even the smallest projects are the result of successfully orchestrating the expertise of a network of professionals, trades and craftspeople.

We aspire to artful simplicity. Our work is grounded in the idea that clear organization, warm natural materials, and quiet restraint provide the ideal canvas for life lived.

Modern kitchen with wooden cabinets, a wooden ceiling, black pendant lights, large windows, and a dining table with black chairs.
